8 points, and beat it!

Last Week on the way to Nueva Yorka...

As in we are caught in the act! We are only allowed at this area to do a 55mph, but we are running 30 more/mph so we are doing a 85mph on a 55mph area.

That is really good that we told Officer Chenalyn that I really need to use the restroom badly so instead of getting an 8 point ticket we only got 2. And instead of speeding what we got is just kind of reckless driving. (caught in the act na huli sa akto! paano ba naman kasi bilis-bilis-bilis ng takbo ng makita ang parak ayuuunn biglang preno wa care kung may karunichiwa sa likod sa kalagitnaan ng highways of my life!)

::sigh:: It was a relief imagine the monies $$$ if that was 8 points? not just for the ticket but also the insurance!) Coming from me!

So here’s how to beat a speeding ticket in New Jersey. And managed to get total costs reduced by 80%!

1. Get a ticket

2. Go to your court date. (If you show up 30 minutes before the court opens, you’ll put your name near the beginning of the sign-in sheet and you’ll get out of court in an hour… Else, you could be there for 1-3 hours)

3. On the way in, sign the “I want to talk to the prosecutor” sheet. It will be next to the sign-in sheet.

4. Possibly wait a few hours. Read the book you brought and/or do people-watch. It’s better than the DMV.

5. When you’re name is called to speak with the prosecutor, (If the judge calls you before the prosecutor, tell him that you’re waiting to speak to the prosecutor) tell him that you’d like to pay a surcharge to the court instead of getting points on your license. They can offer you maybe

two choices:

* First option: To plead guilty, pay the ticket, $$$? in court costs and get my ticket reduced to # points?

* Second option: To plead guilty, pay the ticket, $$$? in court costs, a $250 surcharge and get my ticket reduced to 0 points. (Yes, just by showing up at the courthouse, You can saved at least $900 in insurance fees!)

6. Go before the judge. As long as he doesn’t think you are a menace to society and really deserve the points, he’ll approve of the deal. (I saw a guy who had been driving for 9 months and was on his second ticket get denied.)

7. Sign the check at the cashier’s desk.

The Nerves!

Wonderful-Brava-Fantastik! You are really doing a good job - GO TO HELL TRILLANES! (I don't care if later-tomorrow-or the following day... You and your seven dwarfs shuts down my site) You can attempt to do a 3rd-4th-coup d'etat here... More than WELCOME! Plizzz leave Gloria ALONE!

Ohh I just wanted to share this, found it somewhere here on the net scattered like a trash...
Demokrasya Totohanin: Senador Trillanes Paglingkurin! True Democracy Now: Let Senator Trillanes Serve! - Is that so? O sige, sabi mo eh!

I just can't understand... After what he and his "dwarfs" did at Oakwood, still made him a Senator? Huh... Anomaly-anomaly-anomaly!

I am not writing this entry because Gloria gave me such amount of monies... NO-NO-NO I am not on anybodys side here... Ang point eh

Eto:

More than a year after the mutiny, its leaders apologized to the president for the failed military rebellion. Arroyo accepted the apology, but ruled out immediate pardon and said their trial would proceed. The officers face sentences up to life in prison for the mutiny. Then in November 2004, President Arroyo ordered 133 of the 321 soldiers freed, saying they were deceived by their officers into joining the mutiny. - From Wikipedia

Kung hindi naman kayo mukang tanga diba? Tapos ngayon inuulit nyo ulit? Tsktsk, I heard that Manila Peninsula just got renovated!, Oh well... I guess you fancy nice hotels, So what's next? Anito or Victoria Court? Or hmm much better... STOP your coup'de'stupiti!

Demon Barber Sweeny Todd - Man or Myth?

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is back!, By Tim Burton, so I guess it must be really-really good!

Sweeney Todd is of a wrongfully imprisoned barber in Victorian England who sets out to seek revenge on the judge who imprisoned him. The plot is foreshadowed in the first lines of the opening number: "Attend the tale of Sweeney Todd./His skin was pale and his eye was odd./He shaved the faces of gentlemen/Who never thereafter were heard of again."

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is sorta the first version of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Alleged to have been based on a real series of crimes from around 1800 – though nobody seems to be able to find any real evidence about it. However, in the mid-1800s the story started appearing in literature. And from their it became a popular urban legend of a Barber that slit the throats of his clients and with his lady friend baked them into meat pies and served them back to folks of the town.

If you liked the Sweeney Todd on Broadway, well you'll also love the Sweeney Todd movie version! I suggest that you visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site and see for yourselves or you can visit Sweeney Todd on MySpace.

Sweeney Todd will be out in Theaters December 21st - Ohh I so can't wait for this day!!!

Emotions...

it's funny how they get bottled up and build up inside of a soul.

Its easier for me to just feel nothing sometimes versus having to. [bato na ako at manhid - call me BatMan]

Human hearts bottle up emotions for a number of diffrent reasons. Things can get out of hand quickly when matters of the heart are present. So we put our emotions on the backburner and ignore them completely... But as any logical person knows even if we keep a lid on our emotions it's only a matter of time before they quell and burst into flame. So why do we do this to ourselves when most of the time storing emotions makes it worse?

Me, Social Climber?

It's not my fault really!

(it's time you came out of the wilderness as I will reveal the ancient laws of fabulousness.) Maki-social climb ka na!

  • Dapat kung ano sila ganun ka din! - Kung asal mayaman man o mayaman to the max ang mga sinasaman mong mga kaibigan, dapat asal mayaman ka din. Kahit Poorisima Valdez to the 100th power ka man. Dahil nga diba ang kasabihang birds of the same feather flock together? Maki flock ka na lang!
  • If you want to have politicians, models, actresses ohh or just as simple as high society ritz friends? What you got to do? Just simply pretend that you are one of them! Cause like, attracts like! Law of attraction! You know, I learn from the best!!! Ahihhiiiiiiii...

Ohh well enough with the social climbing tips!

Anyways look how cheap it is to learn $60.00 lang (Dali-dali akong pumasok at inen-roll ang sarili ko, hindi ako papatalo sa mga kaibigan kong taga Princeton no!) Ako pa? Si diwa aka Inday? Nevah!!!

Tutal life is short honey so Enjoy na lang!

Pero for now eh sarangolla lang muna ang pwede kong mapalipad at aeroplanong papel he he he...

She's gone...

Yeah it's true. I really lost it. *huhuhuhuh* Now I have a reason to buy a new one!, but the video Ipod will always be in my heart. [Masakit! Sobra.] Words cannot express how am feeling right now.

I woke up earlier like 6 AM and the first thing that pop into my mind is my Ipod. I miss her! I hope she is in good hands [good hands? eh dinukutan nga ako diba?] Grrrr!

I am careless most of the time I admit that! Imagine I have lost my scarf too... Anong klaseng buhay ba to? [work, school, blogging, work pa din, beastfriend] not in order.

I guess, all I have to do now is just wait till this Itouch gets in my hand.

Anong anomalya itech?

Digital Vs Analog

On our recent road trip to New York I brought our digital cameras - Casio Exilim a digital camera with 3x optical zoom (31-93mm) and 2.2 inch screen, Canon EOS 400D Digital Rebel XTi, the brand new Canon-designed 10.1 megapixel CMOS image sensor and 35 mm film camera (a Minolta STsi Maxxum). While both our digital camera is hardly top of the line, it does a decent job and is starting to make me wonder about even using a film camera. This is my attempt at convincing myself to go all digital all the way!

We took pictures with those cameras, though didn't prepare well for the trip and the digital camera quickly ran out of storage space (I had it on the highest quality pictures because I hate it when a digital picture is too small to use for something like a desktop image Of course then we couldn't figure out how to set it for low quality and save room) and batteries (they're rechargeable, but I think they're also three or four years old and approaching the end of their usable life). So we took what digital pictures we could and used the film camera as a backup.

When we got home I downloaded the digital pics to the computer and immediately posted several pictures online. Instant gratification.

The roll of film, however, sat in my camera for more than a week before I remembered to take it up to the shop to get it developed. Another three days later I remembered to pick it up. My pictures were grainy and dark, not many good shots in the bunch. Left me feeling rather disappointed with the film camera experience.

That's why I said to myself... It'll be Digital all the way baby!

It really makes me lean towards digital photography. I don't think digital will make me a better photographer But it will make me feel like a better photographer! What do you think?

The biggest advantage of digital is that I can see my pictures right away. Isn't that incredible?, and lets me know when my pictures are too blurry and when it's too dark to get a good shot (usually my failure in film photography). The instant gratification ties in nicely in that as soon as I get home I can put my pictures on the computer and do something with them. I don't have to finish the roll. I don't have to drop them off. I don't have to pay money to develop so-so pictures.

My lucky day? Hmfpt!

These are the words Manat told me earlier... After... After... After... After, I txted her that I think I might have lost my Ipod just don't know where... Somewhere in... SPACE!

Earlier at work...

I was about to go home already, when I check the side pockets of my bag... *BWUHUHUHUHU... Ipod koooooooooooOOOOOooo, BWUHUHU* This are the words that came out from my mouth, my co-workers went up to me [the hardinero, the stuper and the mayordoma - oo si Doreen ng buhay ko] panicking and asking me what had happened to me (para kasi akong baka na humahagulgol kanina). I think, I have lost my Ipod! BWUHUHUHU!!! Everybody was just looking for it, touch naman ako! Didn't find it at all...

Much more earlier...

The train was so packed! I decided to just stand and let Chuva take the seat, cause I will be getting off after 2 stops, and she will be get off after 10,000 or so stops! So why would I bother sit? May iniisip kasi ako. LOL.

Much-much more earlier... On the way to the the train station [walking].

It was raining earlier. I lit my stog and opened my umbrella. [I know, that time while walking that I still have my Ipod with me.] I didn't see the whole Ipod thou... Pero nakita ko yong headset doon and I know by heart that this morning I have put it again in my side pocket. I KNOW BY HEART. NASA BAG KO LANG SYA!!! Kanina... [Around 6:30 PM while talking to Manat, I know it's on my bags pocket! I know!]

Jaded but hopeful still on the phone with her while at that damn train station...

Yeah, Am on the way home. Am a little bit rushing in cause I wanted to end the confusion that I have... If it's in the house or I really-really-really have lost it.

I rushed upstairs even I wanted to go to the bathroom badly [still on the other line with her.] *BWUHAAAHUHUHAHA - ayan humiyaw na ako ng malakas at tila parang may baka na namang kinakatay lol* It's not here! Confirm!

Manat: Mahal, calm down! What do you want? Are you buying again? Do you want my blue one? Are you going to use it?

Me: What did you call me? [Mahal mo muka mo!] No Am not going to use yours! Yeah, I can but I will still buy something much bigger than that!

Manat: What do you want? Buy it! Itouch? Iphone? Just buy it! I'll pay for it!

Me: HUWAT???? (sure kaya sya? sana hindi sya nabibigla sa sinabi nyang Itouch o Iphone or just buy anything I want. Bwuahaha... Mag-beastfriends naman kami eh! No I can't let you pay for it!

Manat: Buy it. Buy it. BUY IT! I will pay for it!

Me: Noooo, it's okay!

Manat: Were going to break up if you don't buy it! Do you understand what I just said?

Me: [Aba, tayo na ba ulit? Kelan tayo nagbalikan? Diva where just friends? And since ang formula laging nasa bulsa ko... Kaya beastfriend kita!] No, I can't take it! Thanks thou! [Leche pilitin mo pa ako!!!! Plizzz sige na!!! Now na!!!] At least I lost something that can be replaced.

Manat: This might be your lucky day! You wanted an Iphone and Itouch badly right? Buy it now!

Me: Buy it now? [Eh ikaw nga walang Ipod eh, tapos bibilihan mo ako? This girl must be out of her cotton-pickin' mind!] LOL.

Sana kung nasaan man sya ngayon masaya sya... Sana alagaan sya ng nakakuha sa kanya... Sana itrato syang mabuti... SANA-SANA-SANA-SANA-SANA PATAY NA SI suSANA!

At dahil jan mag-hu-hunger strike ako.

May they rest in peace... [Ang Ipod? o Ang mandarambong?] HEHEHEHE...

Thai Sukiyaki (not your ordinary Sukiyaki hot pot) this is Manat [Iron Chef] version.

Preparation for Thai Sukiyaki (not your ordinary Sukiyaki hot pot) this is Manat [Iron Chef] version.

Seafood Salad by Diwatang_Byaning [Top Chef] version.

shrimps, lemon grass, lime juice, fish sauce (nam pla / patis ), sugar, cilantro, onion, fresh mint
shallots, red / green chili, Vietnamese pork (white casing) and bean thread.

Pour boiling water into your shrimps. Pour boiling water into your bean thread [Ayaw natin i-over cook, kaya pour-pour lang po okay?]. Boil the Vietnamese pork and onion. Once every things ready put em' in one bowl and mix altogether with fish sauce, lime juice, fresh cilantro / mint leaves and the chillies - at habang inihahalo-halo mo silang lahat, dapat nag la-lambada ka! It's a must!!!

Papaya Salad (Som Tum) by Diwatang_Byaning

Our main ingredient here is unripe Papaya - obyus ba? kaya nga Papaya Salad diba? eh di kung Patola ang ingredient eh di sana ang tawag sa kanya Patola Salad? *Tok*

sugar, lime juice, unripe green papaya shredded, green beans, garlic, fish sauce (nam pla / patis), dried / fresh shrimp, crablets (optional), chilies, cherry tomatoes, and peanuts (toasted and it's optional)

Wash and peel the Papaya, then you can start grating it. If you don't have a grater...

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Thanks giving day y'all! *gobble-gobble*

... Hope y'all had a nice and warm thanks giving day.

I worked earlier and after that, had dinner with my family, I was so tired! It is a shame that I even fell asleep at the couch after I filled up my tummy...

Paano ba naman kasi no?

For some people, tomorrow is a must for shopping! It's black Friday!!! Wooo, a piece of advise, ingatan lang po ang mga pitaka sa mga posibleng madurukot!

And as for me, I'll still be working tomorrow. Iba pag mahigpit ang pangangailangan... My full time job and paid ads aren't enough!

Iron Chef Vs Top Chef let the battle begin

Starring: Iron Chef (Manat) Vs Top Chef (Yours Truly)

Last Sunday me and my beastfriend decided to cook [bonding ba].

It's just a regular day, nothing special. We love cooking and eating with friends, as a matter of FAQ we invited Chuva to eat with us. I am so glad that she made it, I mean the effort ugh... She lives like hmmm a wall apart from mine - Bwhehehehe...

Utos dito utos doon... You like??? Ahihihihiiii

It provides relief for arthritis sufferrers as well. Isn't it great?
